Natchez Little Theatre is Mississippi's oldest community theatre and has been entertaining since 1932. The home of Southern Exposure and A Natchez Christmas Carol . NLT is celebrating 83 years of entertainment with audiences of 24,000 patrons from around the world annually attending over 100 performances throughout the year. During 2016, NLT will celebrate 84 years of entertainment and will transition into a calendar year season and with this new site in celebration of the 300th birthday of Natchez as the oldest settlement on the Mississippi River.

 

In March - April

Azalea's are in full bloom, Pilgrimage is about to begin. Mayweather Hall is in financial trouble and Penelope trying to save her family home is forced to take in a roomer, a roomer who has ulterior motives of his own. He never expects what is to come. All the while Penelope's cousin's wife has her eyes set on Mayweather Hall. Come join us to see how it all works out. With the roomer dodging the tourist and tour guide, Penelope worried she will get caught letting an unmarried man live in one of her rooms, and keeping the wolves at bay who are trying to take her home. Will she be able to save Mayweather Hall????

Catherine Sloper a young woman who stands to inherit her father's large fortune, falls in love when she meets Morris Townsend who gives her the love and affection her father doesn't, and which she desperately needs. Catherine's father Dr. Sloper, believing Morris is only after the money, tells Catherine she will be disinherited if she marries him. Morris' true intentions are put to the test when he finds out about the amended will.

The African savannah comes to life on your stage with Simba, Rafiki and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle... and back again, in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale.

 

Building Fund!

NLT's building fund has been depleted due to the theft of 3 central air conditioning units and the purchase of a new roof. Now wiring from the 1950's needs to be replaced. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to the building fund at our donations page.
